Kenya’s electoral body IEBC on Wednesday caused a stir over the controversial Burning Bridges post shared on its Twitter page.
The tweet was posted during the launch of the Building Bridges (BBI) signature verification exercise at Bomas of Kenya.
The IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati has apologized for the tweet saying it was a typo.
Earlier today, the Commission posted a tweet on the launch of the Verification of BBI supporters. However, there was a typographical error in the tweet which was made inadvertently. The error does NOT any in way reflect the position of the Commission or its staff.

BBI is an initiative to unite Kenyans promoted by President Uhuru Kenyatta and former opposition leader Raila Odinga.
