Black Friday sales started early in Kenya, with most participating companies launching their campaigns as early as the beginning of November. Most sales end on the last Friday of the month, with some brands extending their sale to the end of the month.

This year, Black Friday falls on November 25th. Jumia is among the companies that have fully embraced Black Friday deals, with this year’s sale running from November 4th to November 25th.
Black Friday is the right season to buy anything you have desired to buy but did not have enough money.

Here are the places to get Black Friday deals in Kenya;
Jumia Black Friday Deals
The Jumia Black Friday campaign features daily flash sales, discounts on various items from featured brands and participating vendors, and a super deal on the first and last day of the campaign. They also have shopping vouchers and discounts through their influencers, app, and card checkout.

Jumia Black Friday flash sales take place every day at 10:00 am. Visit their flash sale page to claim your discount.
Jumia Black Friday super deals
According to the customer service agent I spoke to, Jumia had super deals on the first day of their campaign, November 4th. The super deal featured various items, including fridges, TV sets, and phones that were going for just KES 100.
The next super deal takes place on November 25th where they will be selling a 14-seater matatu for the same amount.
The super deal is part of a treasure hunt on the Jumia website. It will be hidden in a category on the website, and if you find it, you will have the opportunity to own a mini-van for just KES 100.

Jumia Black Friday voucher discounts
As part of the Black Friday campaigns, Jumia is also offering voucher discounts through their influencer network. These discounts are also available to users of the Jumia app, and when you use your card to check out.
Furniture Palace Black Friday and End of Year Deals
Furniture Palace is running a Black Friday sale from November 22 to November 27 with discounts of up to 75%. They are also running their end-of-year sale until December 31.

Carrefour Black Friday deals
Carrefour is a global retailer with over 16 branches in Kenya, 14 of which are in Nairobi. Carrefour Black Friday deals run from November 9th to November 25th.

Kilimall is an online shopping mall selling various items. Their Black Friday Deals run the entire month of November. They also have a free cash raffle running every Monday and Friday and daily flash sales for as low as KES 10.

Hotpoint/LG Black Friday deals
Hotpoint is an appliances shop with outlets in Imaara Mall, Yaya Centre, Sarit Centre, Garden City, Village Market, CBD, Westgate, and other outlets outside Nairobi. From November 1st to November 30th. They have been running various sales on different branches and online. You can also claim huge Black Friday discounts on Hotpoint/LG products at Jumia.
Sai Raj Black Friday Sale
Sai Raj is a fiberglass and PVC products manufacturer and fabricator with headquarters in Ruaraka and a showroom on Mombasa Road. They deal with products such as Fiberglass/ Steel Truck and Pick-up Bodies, Vehicle Conversions and Specialty Fabrications, Fleet Conversions, 4×4 accessories, camping gear, uPVC roofing sheets, polycarbonate sheets, PVC ceiling panels, fiberglass tanks, fiberglass furniture, among others.
